Oak and Stone — Primary Bathroom

Oak and Stone primary bathroom with an oak vanity, dark countertop, freestanding tub and warm cream tile.

A warmer way to start the day

Ready to leave the bright blue tile and dated finishes behind, the clients wanted a primary bathroom that felt warm and comfortable. Emeline developed the selections, and the clients chose their favorites. Wall-mounted oak vanities, dark countertops and a softly varied palette of cream and beige give the room a fresh, modern character. Lovina White mosaic wraps the walls and shower ceiling, complemented by large-format Dorado Beige floor tile.

A completely reimagined layout

The former shower became a separate water closet, and a freestanding bathtub found a new place beneath the window. A new shower occupies the opposite corner, with separate vanities positioned on either side of its glass enclosure. This arrangement gives each client a dedicated space while opening the room around the tub.

Comfort in the details

One vanity was mounted a few inches above the usual height to comfortably accommodate a taller client. Illuminated medicine cabinets provide storage and light at each sink, while a towel warmer adds an everyday comfort. The result is a room shaped around the people who use it, down to the height of the countertop.
