A small room with a dramatic personality
The only wallpapered room in Oak and Stone, this powder room takes a more expressive turn. Deep blue woodland wallpaper and a coordinating ceiling create a moody setting for an elongated mirror, green glass sconces and a richly carved vanity. Emeline designed the room and selected every element around the homeowners’ preferences.
A complete renovation also brought a more comfortable arrangement. Previously tucked behind the door on another wall, the toilet was relocated beside the vanity, making better use of the compact space.
Pattern, texture and a little contrast
Mosaic pebble tile brings an organic texture underfoot. The dark carved vanity and pale veined top balance the detailed wallpaper, while green glass lighting adds another layer of color.
