PROJECT
Part of a whole-house renovation
From a closet to a room for growing up.
Once a closet serving the former entry room, this space became a full bathroom beside the nursery. Expanding its footprint a few feet into the adjoining nursery made room for the transformation, with Emeline designing the room in its entirety.
A little discovery at bath time.
The homeowners’ love of creatures great and small inspired the Delft animal tiles in the bathing niche. Bird-and-botanical wallpaper, flower-shaped hardware, and a floral mosaic floor carry that playful spirit throughout the room.
Designed to delight as they grew.
Designed before the family knew whether they were expecting a boy or a girl, the palette brings together soft blue, green, and yellow. The intention was a colorful, gender-neutral space that would spark their baby’s curiosity and continue to delight them as they grew.
The children’s bathroom is part of the larger Bird & Bramble House renovation.
